XRP ETF: 1.8 billion entries, a price that does not follow
Summarize this article with:

US XRP ETFs continue to attract capital. After thirteen consecutive weeks of positive collection, these funds are approaching $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows. At the same time, Ripple is increasing its initiatives with two new agreements in international brokerage and in South Korea. However, the price of XRP remains under pressure.

A monumental XRP attracts capital, while a stunned investor watches the massive influx of billions amid an explosive financial atmosphere.

In brief

  • US XRP ETFs total approximately $1.803 billion in net inflows after thirteen consecutive weeks of collection.
  • Their net assets reach 1.509 billion dollars, or 294 million less than the amounts invested.
  • On October 14, Ripple announced two partnerships: one with DriveWealth around the stablecoin RLUSD, the other with Meritz Securities in South Korea.

Thirteen weeks of collection, but an irregular rhythm

On October 14, the five US XRP ETFs saw $740,400 in net inflows. Bitwise handled all of this collection, bringing its cumulative inflows to approximately $688 million. In total, the funds now show almost $1.803 billion in positive net flows, as confirmed by the XRP ETF tracker.

This dynamic contrasts with that of Bitcoin ETFs, whose inflows slowed significantly in early October. According to SoSoValue dataXRP funds are thus continuing their series of thirteen positive weeks, despite a less favorable market.

Why XRP is falling despite capital inflows

Investments in ETFs are not enough to support the price. XRP is trading around $1.32, down 7% over seven days. After approaching $1.42 on October 12, the token fell following the publication of higher-than-expected US inflation figures.

Another figure stands out: ETFs have $1.803 billion in net inflows, but their assets are only worth $1.509 billion. This gap of $294 million illustrates the effect of the fall in XRP on the value of investments.

Furthermore, the token is losing ground on a market scale. Its share in the total capitalization of cryptos increased from around 5% to almost 3% in fifteen months. This development highlights its relative decline compared to other digital assets.

Ripple multiplies partnerships without rushing launches

Meanwhile, Ripple continues its institutional development. On October 14, the company announced a partnership with DriveWealtha brokerage infrastructure provider that supports more than a hundred partners.

The two companies plan to integrate RLUSD, Ripple’s dollar-backed stablecoin, on the XRP ledger to facilitate trade settlement, starting in Europe. They are also exploring cross-border payments and asset custody. However, they have not communicated a launch date or volume objective.

In South Korea, Ripple also concluded an agreement with Meritz Securities. This broker becomes its first local partner in this sector. The two companies will study custody and tokenization solutions adapted to the South Korean regulatory framework, as Seoul prepares a first phase of regulated securitization for February 2027.

These announcements continue an already dense news story, marked in particular by the arrival of Evernorth on Nasdaq on October 12. Will investments in ETFs and Ripple’s advances end up sustainably supporting the price of XRP?
