Capital B strengthens its BTC reserves
The French company Capital B spent 25.3 million euros on the acquisition of 376 BTC. This operation represents its largest purchase since September 2025. On that date, the company had added 551 BTC to its treasury. Last month, she had purchased only 6 BTC.
After this acquisition, Capital B holds 3,521 BTC in total. The company indicates in its press release having spent 309.4 million euros on its purchases. The average price reaches 87,878 euros per bitcoin, or approximately $102,058. These figures provide a clear benchmark for the financial effort.
The operation is based in particular on funds raised. Capital B cites a private placement of 28.7 million euros to finance its strategy. This fundraising included an additional investment of 7.6 million euros made by Adam Back. Its stake now reaches 17.64%.
A strategy centered on bitcoin
Capital B was previously known as The Blockchain Group. The company adopted this name in July 2025 to focus its strategy on bitcoin cash. In June, it announced that it was studying a credit product backed by bitcoin for the European market. The project is inspired by STRC and SATA products.
This orientation adds an axis around its digital reserve. Monday’s acquisition reinforces this strategy, with more BTC. The credit project could also gradually expand the use of this reserve. At this point, the company remains in the study stage.
On the market, bitcoin has remained almost stable over the past 24 hours. Its price was moving around $79,500 on Monday, after around $81,700 on Thursday. The decline since this local summit accompanies the announcement of Capital B. The value of BTC remains central to monitoring its reserves.
Capital B now displays 3,521 BTC after its largest purchase since September 2025. The company is continuing its accumulation strategy, while its credit project remains under study. In the short term, the evolution of bitcoin and its acquisitions will be the main elements to follow.
