Metaplanet, a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, has just carried out a major operation: the acquisition of 1,241 bitcoins for an amount of 129 million dollars. The company now holds 6,796 BTC, valued at around $ 707 million. This figure exceeds 6,714 BTC recorded by Salvador, a pioneering country in the adoption of Bitcoin as a legal currency.
