Last Thursday, the price of bitcoin briefly climbed to $59,516 on weaker-than-expected U.S. inflation data, reviving hopes of multiple interest rate cuts this year. However, the surge was not enough to break the $60,000 barrier, a key resistance level.

The persistence of extreme fear among traders could dampen investment initiatives and exacerbate market volatility. Nevertheless, positive signals are starting to emerge. Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continue to attract strong flows, with nearly $79 million injected on Thursday, the majority of which came from BlackRock’s IBIT. These fresh capital inflows could stabilize the market in the short term and ease investor fears.

Bitcoin is currently trading around $57,246, according to data from CoinGecko. The investment community is closely monitoring upcoming developments, particularly regarding bitcoin sales initiatives by governments and institutions.
